Start with the loss allowance
A 100K simulated account does not give you $100,000 to lose. In the Crest evaluation, the starting balance is $100,000 and the fixed equity floor is $97,000. The initial loss allowance is $3,000. Compare that allowance alongside the fee and profit target.
Read the requirements together
The 100K target is $3,000, with 30 calendar days of access and no minimum number of trading days, so the target can be reached from day 1. Remaining above the loss floor would not satisfy the profit target on its own. Both performance and compliance matter.
Understand what comes next
Evaluation profit is simulated and has no cash value. When you pass, you request your funded account from your dashboard, and payouts come from that account once you meet its rules. Passing does not give you a live brokerage account.
Compare before committing
Use the comparison tool to examine all five account sizes. Review the fixed floor, position limits, expiry and payout conditions.
